What are the check-in/check-out times?
Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 11am. If you require a late check-out please enquire with the hotel directly.

How can I organise a late check-out?
If you need to extend your check-out time, please speak to Reception who will let you know of any additional charges.

What happens if I need to cancel?
Bookings must be cancelled by calling/informing reservations; Ordinary bookings cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival will attract a full refund. Later cancellations or no-shows will be charged at the full room rate. Promotional, seasonal, all inclusive and advance rates are non-refundable and non-transferable. For cancellation policies on corporate bookings please refer to individual contracted terms and conditions.

Are there extra costs if I am staying on my own?
A single supplement may apply – the costs will be shown when checking availability online.

Will I be charged for guests occupying my room?
Yes a supplement will probably apply depending on the package you have booked – please enquire directly with the hotel.

Is room service available?
Yes, room service is available at the hotel. A tray charge will be added to your bill. Room service is available between these times: Mon-Thurs 12pm-10pm, Fri-Sat 12pm-10:30pm, Sun 12pm-7pm.

What do I do if I have a special request?
Every effort will be made to accommodate any special requests that you might have, please contact the hotel reception as early as possible. Special dietary requirements can be catered for, however we would ask that the hotel is informed at the earliest possible time.

Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets, we are of course pleased to accommodate registered guide dogs.

Where is the nearest airport?
The Mandolay is just a 30 minute drive from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports. London City Airport is approximately 60 minutes away.

Where is the nearest train station?
Guildford main line station is 5 minutes away by car, travellers using a branch line can also alight at London Road Station, which is approximately a 3 minute walk from the hotel.

Can the hotel arrange transport from the airport or train station?
We are happy to help by providing recommended taxi services but we are unable to book journeys on your behalf, these must be book direct with the taxi company. Please contact reception for details.

The Mandolay is just a five minute walk from the historic Guildford High Street with its mix of boutique style independent specialist shops and famous name high street department stores.

Will the hotel be noisy?
As a busy hotel there are inevitably times when noise levels increase and we make every effort to keep all bedrooms well protected from outside noise. The hotel caters for many group bookings and is host to events throughout the year and we take care to allocate bedrooms appropriately.
