The Mandolay Hotel is Surrey’s Largest Independent Events Venue, 4 AA star, 72 bedrooms and 8 state of the art conference rooms with a suite up to 500 guests. The vacancy involves working flexible; shift hours, including day afternoon, evening and weekend shifts

Food and Beverage Supervisor

As Food and Beverage Supervisor at The Mandolay Hotel you will be trusted to make sure things are right. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of guest service and ensuring all guest concerns are resolved positively.

 Supervising a team of Food and Beverage Assistants
 Following all cash handling/opening/closing procedures
 Ensuring all team members are trained
 Carrying out induction for new team members
 Delivering guest service
 Resolving guest issues

Chef de Partie

As a chef de Partie you get to oversee a section of the kitchen, be it pastry, butchery, fish, sauces, vegetables and so on

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes
• Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
• Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
• Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
